junior data analyst

we are looking for an early-career professional who enjoys working with data, identifying patterns, and translating insights into practical business recommendations. you will work closely with analytics and consulting teams to collect, clean and validate data from multiple sources, analyse datasets to identify trends and business insights, build dashboards and recurring reports, write sql queries to extract and transform data, and communicate findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. the ideal candidate will have skills in sql, python, excel, data analysis and visualisation, together with strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills. experience with power bi or tableau, pandas, numpy, git/github, or basic machine learning concepts would be advantageous. applicants should have a bachelor’s degree in computer science, data science, statistics, information technology or a related field. this is an entry-level position suitable for candidates with 0–2 years of relevant experience, and recent graduates are encouraged to apply. the salary range is $70,000–$80,000 plus superannuation, applicants must have valid australian working rights, and the expected start date is october 2026.
