jw pty ltd is seeking a procurement and contracts advisor to support procurement and commercial activities for an australian government client within our government industry practice. this is a part-time position of approximately three days per week and is primarily office-based in brisbane, with occasional flexibility to work from home depending on operational requirements. the successful candidate will support procurement planning, prepare and review tender documentation, evaluate supplier submissions, assist with contract negotiations, monitor supplier performance and maintain accurate procurement and contract records. the role will also involve providing advice to internal stakeholders on procurement processes, identifying commercial and contractual risks, supporting contract variations and ensuring procurement activities are conducted in accordance with relevant australian government procurement policies and governance requirements. applicants should have at least 3 years of relevant experience in procurement, contract administration, commercial management or a related field, with strong written communication, stakeholder management, negotiation and analytical skills. knowledge of the commonwealth procurement rules and previous experience working in government procurement or another regulated environment will be highly regarded. a current australian government baseline security clearance is required for this position. the role offers an equivalent full-time salary range of $100,000–$115,000 plus superannuation, pro-rated according to agreed part-time hours, together with access to professional development and procurement training opportunities.
